EBEYS PAC

The EBEYS PAC is looking for a reliable teen who can help us with childcare during our monthly meetings. Must have the babysitting course completed.

Paid minimum wage for the hour long meeting. If meeting goes over an hour we’ll adjust for that.

Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month from 7pm until 8pm. Upwards of 5 kids aged 3-10 but some months there may not be any kids. Activities will be provided by us.

The EBEYS PAC will be having our AGM on September 15th at 7pm at the school.
All are welcomed to attend. We will be voting in our 2026-2027 Executive Members and setting dates for our hot lunch days!

How amazing is it when community comes together!

At the end of the school year we try to contribute what we can towards the Staff Appreciation meal on the last day of school. This year, thanks to everyone who bought from our fundraisers, we were able to cover the entire cost of the Staff Appreciation Breakfast!

We know the importance of our staff, not only the teachers but the EA’s, Student Services, Art, Music, Library, Gym, and everyone else it takes to keep our school and students safe and happy!

A huge thank you to EBEYS PAC for providing breakfast for staff on June 30th, a delicious meal catered by CHEF in the HOUSE. It was the fuel we needed before cleaning / packing up / moving classrooms and offices.

Congrats to all staff and students for another great year! We hope you all have a fun and safe summer.

I want to take a moment to thank the parents and community members who joined the PAC this year. Big thanks to Kristi P who runs our Subway Days and Janine H who runs Pizza Days. To Tim, our long time treasurer who is passing the spreadsheets to our next treasurer in September, thank you for your time and advice! We can’t forget about our Teacher Rep, Mrs Huzel, who has given us amazing insights into what going on not only in the classrooms but with Student Services. Mr. Carter, thanks for letting us take over your office space with 165 dozen donuts and for keeping us up to date on school events. Mrs. Breitsprecher, your support during our meetings and fundraisers made everything flow smoothly. Last and certainly not least, Mrs Smorang in the office, who was our main gal and go between when it came to teachers and parents.

We’re excited for summer and look forward to the 2026-2027 school year!

Quick Update, our meeting tonight is cancelled due to weather and wanting to keep our members safe. I’ll post the new date soon.

Our last Subway Day at EBEYS is Tuesday, June 16th and orders are due Thursday, June 11th!

Tomorrow, June 9th, at 7pm is the last EBEYS PAC meeting for the 2025-2026 school year.
