These will be small groups of no more than 5 children

Cost is $25 per session you only pay for sessions attended.

This year I will be offering a Montessori tutoring program after school. Beyond the Sound will be a small group session that you can opt to do 1,2,3 or 4 days a week. Times will be from 3:30-5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 3:30-4:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays. Pickup after school from Bellevue School is available.
There will be a maximum of 6 students per class.
We will work on Reading, writing, literacy, numeracy or other areas depending on the needs of the students.
When registering you will let me know areas you would like your child to focus and we will set up a curriculum plan for them. In true Montessori philosophy we will work with children at their own level. Homework from public school can be brought in to work on as well.
Fees are as follows:
1 day per week: $100 per month
2 days per week: $200 per month
3 days per week: $250 per month
4 days per week: $375 per month

Sessions will consist of individual lesson time, workbooks/worksheets, hands-on materials, and group games. If you are interested in any of these sessions please email me

Fall 2020 Sessions
I have two options
1. group sessions which will be $55 a month per child. ( no make up classes) 3-4 students socially distanced at their own tables.
2. private sessions for $25 if you add a sibling to the private session ( so both of them at the same time) it would be $35 for the two children per session.
Due to new COVID protocols reading books will not be going home but will be read here. Also instead if duotangs and bags with the coins going home I will ask you provide your child with a binder and pencil pouch with an eraser, pencil and package of pencil crayons in it to come with them to each class. what we have worked on will be written in here and sent home and reading coins earned will be stored here for your child, in their own container. This is all to eliminate sharing of materials. Also times will be strictly followed so please do not arrive early or late as another session may be starting or ending and we will need to keep groups and students separate.
At pick up and drop off times you can either wait in your vehicle for your child or wait on the grassy area if you have questions or want to chat with me.
Please do not send your child if they have a cough, cold or flu symptoms such as fever, excessive runny nose, or if you or a family member at the same household have travelled outside of Canada.
Materials will be cleaned before a new student uses them.
Masks are not mandatory but if your child comes with one at your request I will encourage this for the duration of the session. I have a clear shield that I use so that students can see my lips and mouth when forming phonetic sounds.
Spaces will be extremely limited this year. So please register early. Classes will start the week of sept 7.

Home based group tutoring
Does your child struggle with reading? Maybe they just aren't enthusiastic about reading or it is a struggle to get them to read with you at home.
I am a Montessori teacher with over 15 years experience and my passion is to help children love to read and suceed!
