My name is Miss Talbert and I've lived in Beaumont since 2010. I started voice lessons in a small community voice studio when I was 10 years old. I absolutely fell in love with it, and moved to the Mount Royal Conservatory program in Calgary when I was in high school. I knew I was hooked, so after high school I went on to get bachelor's and master's degrees in voice performance. This education taught me about how the voice is built and works together with the body and about how to share that knowledge with other singers! When I moved to Beaumont, I knew I wanted to teach, so I made a studio in my home near Beau Meadows. I teach voice lessons, coach singers prepping for auditions, and run musical theatre camps out of a local dance studio. I run the Beaumont Songbirds Choir program, which includes choirs for 3- 5 year-olds, school-age children, and teen/adults. I also coach the high school Block 5 Musical program from the high school. I’m also honored to be a director of the Beaumont Society for the Arts, and I love performing at municipal and private events. There is so much musical talent in Beaumont, and I'm excited to be part of that for years to come!
