✨ Calling Métis Teachers ✨

Interested in the Master of Education in Educational Studies (MES), focused on Leadership in Métis Education?

Join us for an upcoming virtual information session to learn more about the program, eligibility, application process, and what to expect from our second cohort beginning in January 2027.

🖥️ Info Session (Zoom)
📅 Tuesday, September 1, 2026
⏰ 7:00 p.m. MST

This fully funded, part-time graduate program is designed to support working Métis educators who want to deepen their Métis cultural knowledge, strengthen their leadership and research skills, and continue learning without stepping away from the classroom.

Participants will:
• Build Métis cultural knowledge and strengthen connections to identity through Foundational Knowledge, land-based learning, and Michif language experiences
• Develop leadership and facilitation skills through workshops, professional learning, coaching, and opportunities to support learning within schools and districts
• Apply their learning through workplace-based inquiry and a final capstone synthesis grounded in their own educational contexts

This second cohort is part of a limited initiative designed to strengthen Métis leadership in K–12 education. While no additional intakes are planned beyond these two cohorts, we are excited to welcome another group of Métis educators into the program and see what grows from their learning and leadership.
