Grateful! ❤️ Thank you to everyone who purchased Orange Shirt kits from us! We appreciate your support of our Metis family run small business. This year we will host a free knotted blanket workshop in Edmonton using some of the profits from the 🧡 pin kits to purchase materials. Participants will make a blanket that will be gifted to our unhoused brothers and sisters AND take home a child sized knotted blanket kit for themselves. More details to come. 😊

🧡 Every Child DOES Matter 🧡… reconciliation in action today with Aboriginal Head Start. We set our intentions for the day and smudged. We learned from children’s books on residential schools. We assembled blessing bags and blankets. We watched a magical play called Kokom’s Babushka. Visited with our unhoused brothers and sisters. And ended the day with a reflection circle and we all smudged off. Prayers for continued reconciliACTION for the other 364 days of the year.
