Happy World Teachers’ Day!

Today, we celebrate our incredible team of teachers who show up every day with dedication, creativity, patience, and a whole lot of heart. From the big moments to the small ones, our teachers make a difference in the lives of our students every single day.

We’re lucky to have such an amazing group of educators who call St. Edmund home and work together to make our school a place where students can learn, grow, and feel supported.

Thank you to our teachers for everything you do. We appreciate you today and every day!

The Terry Fox Run is going ahead, rain or shine!

With rain in the forecast, we ask that all students come to school dressed appropriately for the weather and bring a change of clothes to wear after the run.

Parent volunteers, please arrive at the school for 8:15 a.m.

It’s not too late to make a donation! We’re closing in on our $18,000 goal, currently sitting at $16,000. Every donation gets us one step closer to reaching our goal — and one step closer to dumping freezing cold water on the heads of staff!

I’ve had a lot of parents asking about the song the children have been getting ready for Orange Shirt Day today. It is called Seasons, by Indian City, a group out of Winnipeg Manitoba. A wonderful song about celebrating nature and the cycle of seasons. Have your child sing it for you!
