We’re talking 10 weeks of unconventional art experiences that foster surprise, curiosity, new ways of thinking, and connection with other kids.

Register for our spring session on Friday, March 1!

How will your child transform colours, shapes, everyday objects, ourselves, and even the world around us using clay, oobleck, Lego printmaking, and seed bombs? How much control do they have over these transformations? How far can their transformations go? Bring them to the studio this spring so we can find out!

Check your kiddo's calendar between the weeks of April 8 and June 10 to see if they can attend one of these workshops:

For 3 & 4 year olds + 1 loving adult
- Tuesdays, 9-10am
- Wednesdays, 9-10am
- Wednesdays, 10:30-11:30am

For 5-8 year olds (drop off)
- Tuesdays, 3;30-4:30pm
- Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30pm

For 9-11 year olds (drop off)
- Mondays, 3:30-4:30pm

If none of these are a good fit, please let me know. I'm open to creating additional workshops on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays if enough families are interested.

Your kiddo will experience art making through their 8 senses – yup, there are 8 of them!

We'll create enormous pendulum snow paintings and spin art using our vestibular sense (our sense of balance) to guide us. Using our sense of touch, we'll make doodle weavings and do finger painting (I'll have alternative tools for kiddos with sensory issues). Of course there's more, but I don't want to give away all of my surprises!

And yes, our sensory/light/water table will be up and running too.
At the end of each workshop, we'll settle in on the polka dot rug to read a gorgeous picture book together.

- Space is limited to 6 kiddos per workshop (this ensures a manageable energy level in the room, and it means your child will have more opportunities for genuine connection with the other kiddos in the room).

How are YOU connecting with your loved ones today?

We started our morning with "Still This Love Goes On," a gorgeous book by legendary musician and children's book author Buffy Sainte-Marie (with illustrations by the incomparable Julie Flett). Please find this book at your library or local bookstore and listen to the song by the same title wherever you get your music.

We dove into a sensory exploration of shaving cream "pies" with hidden treasures (that needed to be washed, of course!). Then we used our shaving cream to make marbled hearts and we played with our (clean) treasures on the DIY light table.

A big thank you to the loving adults and awesome kiddos who got into the food colouring and shaving cream with BOTH hands this morning!
