This is a must read for people considering their first sailboat ⛵️

Think a 25-foot sailboat sounds too small for real adventures? Think again. This article makes a surprisingly convincing case that going small might actually be the smartest move you can make — with lower purchase prices, a fraction of the dockage and maintenance costs, and a lively, responsive feel on the water that big boats simply can't match. A 25-footer is easy to singlehand, nimble enough to sneak into shallow anchorages the 40-footers can only dream about, and lets you focus on actually sailing instead of managing a floating tangle of complex systems. Click the link in the comments below to find out why small might just be the best boat decision you ever make!

We had the ultimate Catamaran experience with Amavi Charters on Feb 11, 2026! The food , drinks and hospitality were second to none!

The water colour was exceptional at both of the snorkelling stops along the way!! It was the highlight of our 2 month stay here in Roatan! bayfieldsailingacademy.com
