Announcement:
I hope you have had an amazing safe and happy summer with family and friends. Miss Holly is happy to announce she has accepted a new position that is very near and dear to her heart helping women and children. Although this is happy news it is with a heavy heart that I announce I cannot proceed with regular weekly scheduled lessons this season. Due to having to be available in the middle of the night and any day of the week it would be unfair to students to have to move lessons around so frequently. I am very cognizant of those who are very disappointed by this news and therefore will offer guitar workshops throughout the season until weekly lessons resume. Additionally we will still be participating in the Kiwanis music festival so for select students who have been practicing all summer and show interest and dedication in workshops may be entered into the music festival.

IMPORTANT RECITAL NOTES
1.) Please ensure all students bring all sheet work with them. Also their recital sheet music most importantly . Please bring it all incase another student forgets theirs . I have 3 students paperwork but the rest just remember to bring their own.
2.) PLEASE speak to the children about being on best behaviour tomorrow at the gallery. Their is some very expensive artwork there and there will be zero tolerance
For roughhousing.
3.) PLEASE have a guitar pick and extras if possible.
4.) PLEASE email me if you haven’t already with the invited guests coming with your party

I may post reminders to this page or any other last minute info. Please comment below to acknowledge your child has their sheet music, capo’s if required and pick.

RECITAL:

Due to another student having a clash with a dance recital it is now scheduled for May 31st. 7-8:30

Invites are available for pickup Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 7-8.

Updates :

There was an error in my original post . The intention was for the recital date to be the 29th, a Tuesday. However that date clashes with another students dance recital. Therefore I am awaiting confirmation on some minor details for the show and and it looks like the recital will be pushed up one day to the 30th; watch for confirmation and more info this evening. It will still be 7-8:30.

Invites will be available for pickup Monday and Tuesday night from the studio. With each student having so many family members, a small venue and it being a celebration with free treats for parents and to allow adequate space to carry out the event I have to follow the initial rule with 3 tickets per family. The only exception is in the case whereby there are step parents etc ... grandparents can only attend in the absence of a parent / stepparent that cannot attend.

FINAL WEEK : LAST LESSON OF SEASON TOMORROW WEDNESDAY. May 23rd 7:00 -8:30 (1.5 hrs recital runthough plus extra help with any last minute concerns.)
1.) No lessons Tuesday or Thursday - all lessons tomorrow ( WED)
2.) Invitations to recital sent home tomorrow
3.) all guitars will be tuned and sheet music distributed for performances

ANNOUNCEMENT :
To ensure all students receive their makeup classes OnPoint is adding an extra
week into the schedule free of cost. In turn the recital will also now commence on May 28th, opposed to May22nd.

Students to move lessons and to schedule the anticipated hour length lessons for makeup please see the below schedule for this evening. Those students who were to do an hour long lesson tonight will have an extra lesson next week plus the group run though.
