💗 Grade 1 French Immersion – Helping Our Local SPCA! 💗

Our Grade 1 French Immersion students at Terry Fox Elementary are learning all about caring for animals through their “Fur, The Love of Animals with Ties 2025” project. 🐾

As part of this project, they are hoping to collect donations to support our local SPCA and the animals waiting for their forever homes. Items needed include:
- 🐶 pet food
- 🧸 animal toys
- 🛏️ blankets or beds
- 🍽️ food dishes
- 🧻 paper towels or cleaning supplies

If you’re able to contribute, donations can be dropped off at Terry Fox Elementary. Every little bit helps!

Feb. 9 - Bus 394 is delayed 60 minutes this morning.

Students on bus 393 will be dropped off 30 minutes later today, Feb. 6. Those who get dropped off at the corner of King and Lavigne will be dropped off at their normal time.

Feb. 6 - Please be advised that bus 394 will be running one hour late this morning.

Feb. 5 - Students on Bus 393, with the exception of those dropped off at King and Lavigne, will be dropped off 30 minutes later than normal today.

Feb. 5 - Please be advised that bus 323 will be running this afternoon.

Feb. 5 - Please be advised that bus 323 will not be running today.

Update:

Feb 4. Arrangements have been made and bus 394 students will be driven home by bus 393.

Tomorrow morning bus 394 students will be picked up by bus 393 with a 1 hour delay.

Today was an exciting first day of our Skate with the Lightning program at Terry Fox Elementary! 🏒✨

Thanks to the generosity and collaboration of so many amazing people, all of our classrooms will have the opportunity to visit the KC Irving Centre and skate alongside the Lightning players — an experience our students will never forget.

We were thrilled to have Ms. Beaven’s Grade 1 class and Ms. Erika’s Grade 2 class kick off the program this morning. The smiles, laughter, and pure joy on the ice said it all! Our students created special memories, gained confidence, and experienced something truly meaningful.

A huge thank you to the Lightning Chaleur players for their time, kindness, and for making our students feel so welcomed on the ice. Your impact goes far beyond the rink.
