We would like to take this opportunity to wish the Blazer community a happy Summer. We extend our best wishes to our grade 8 learners who are moving on to BHS in September! We look forward to welcoming our new grade 6 students and reconnecting with our returning Blazers ☺️

We have quite a few report cards that were not handed out on Friday. Our office will be open Today and tomorrow from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm if you would like to pick them up. If not they will be delivered by mail at the end of the day tomorrow.

You may have heard of Oz-fest but yesterday BlAzErFeSt rocked 🤘at local schools as the SMS choir🎶, concert band 🎺and rock bands 🎸were on tour. Between the double header performances, students had a lunch and learn at BHS. We are hearing rave reviews about this collaborative, community initiative. Special thanks to the teachers & volunteers for their dedication and commitment to our aspiring musicians.

Congratulations to our very own Mr. Ben on receiving his “B” Contract today! Go Blazers 🐉

Tonight’s opening performance was pure GOLD! It’s not too late to snag the last remaining tickets for tomorrow’s encore performance of this “Spaghetti Western!” Be ready to cheer and clap and occasionally boo (it’s part of the show), and trust me, it’ll be “impastable” not to have a mighty fine time!

It was a monumental week for one of our outstanding Blazers last week as his project was selected to represent the district at the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Edmonton, AB. Congratulations to Trent Collins (Stitching for Strength - Superior Middle School). What an achievement!
