Another weekend, another coach on our OSKC Academy weekend. This weekend focused on risk mitigation, navigation and towing. Thanks to North Water for hooking us up with six different tow systems to try out! We can’t wait to offer this program again next year!

Our Anglesey, Wales 🏴 trip coming up in May 2027 only has 3 spots left.

There are some days on the water that mean a little more. 💙
Our instructors recently had the privilege of spending time on the water with participants from Soldier On, an incredible program supporting Canadian Armed Forces members and Veterans through sport and physical activity.
For people living with the challenges connected to military service, time outdoors can offer something powerful. Space to breathe, an opportunity to reconnect, a sense of accomplishment, and simply a few hours focused on the water and the people around you.
For our instructors, these programs are every bit as rewarding. Sharing what we love with people who have given so much, watching confidence grow throughout the day, and seeing the connections that form between paddlers is a reminder of why we do this.
We’re incredibly grateful to Soldier On for trusting our team to be a small part of that experience — and to the Veterans and serving members who joined us on the water.
Sometimes paddling is about skills, sometimes it’s about adventure, and sometimes it can simply be about finding a little peace on the water. ❤️
