We had such a beautiful time celebrating Easter together at our centre! Here are some special moments from Palm Sunday and Easter, reminding us of the true meaning of this season.

Last Thursday, we loved welcoming our families in for a fun-filled Easter event! From exciting egg hunts to joyful kids’ worship, it was so special to see everyone come together. We were also blessed to gather for a family Easter service led by Pastor Brad from Inniswood Baptist Church, such a meaningful time of reflection and celebration.

Thank you to all of our families who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. We are also incredibly grateful for your generous donations to Envisage Pregnancy Services, supporting local families in our Barrie community. Your kindness truly makes a difference.

February has been a wonderful month here at Hide and Seek! ✨

At the beginning of the month, our preschoolers and kindergarten class enjoyed two special visits from Kid-Mind Martial Arts for martial arts lessons. 🥋

The children enjoyed learning new movements in a fun, hands-off way while developing important skills like focus, coordination, balance, and self-control.

It was great to see them so engaged, active, and proud of what they accomplished. Thank you to Kid-Mind Martial Arts for making it such a fun and positive experience for everyone! 💙

Love in Action Last Week 💕

Last week, our toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarten students had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine’s Day through crafts, activities, and lots of joyful moments together.

We were especially thankful for our Parent Open House, where families joined their children in their classrooms to celebrate Valentine’s Day and Family Day side by side. It was such a blessing to see parents and children having fun, creating, and making memories together.

Our children also shared Christ’s love beyond our centre by making Valentine’s cards for the residents of Livita Barrington Retirement Residence. Our kindergarten class had the special privilege of delivering them in person, bringing smiles and encouragement to so many hearts. It was a special moment when the children and residents sang “Jesus Loves Me” together at the end of the visit.

We are so grateful for our families and the opportunity to teach our children that love is shown through kindness, service, and faith in Jesus. 💖✝️

Celebrating 1 Year of Hide and Seek 🎉

Today we celebrate one year of Hide and Seek! As we look back on this past year, our hearts are filled with gratitude for all that God has done. From the very beginning, He has been faithful; guiding, providing, and blessing this centre in ways beyond what we could have imagined.

Over the past year, we have witnessed God’s hand at work through the growth of our children, the dedication of our educators, and the strong community He has built among our families. Every laugh, lesson, and milestone has been a reminder of His goodness and grace.

We are so thankful for the families who have entrusted us with their children and for our incredible team who serve with love and purpose each day. We give all the glory to God as we step into year two with excitement and faith for what He has in store.

✨ A look back at our wonderful Christmas season! ✨

During the Christmas season, our toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners enjoyed meaningful, festive activities as we celebrated the birth of Jesus and learned about love, kindness, and giving. 🎄✝️

Our Christmas concert was a beautiful reminder of the true meaning of the season. Watching the children sing, dance, and celebrate the story of Jesus’ birth was such a special and joyful experience for families.

We are also incredibly thankful for our families who participated in our mission last month to support Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. Your generosity and willingness to serve helped share God’s love, hope, and joy with children around the world.

Thank you for partnering with us in faith, service, and community. We are grateful for a season filled with joy, purpose, and Christ-centered learning. ❤️

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, it was our Daycare’s mission to collect donations for Barrie Food Bank. We are so grateful for all of the donations we received, thank you families and staff members for your love and support! 🙏

This was a great learning opportunity for our daycare students and they had an absolute blast getting to go inside the ambulance and seeing how the equipment works! 🚑
