Calling all faculty and staff β Join the Georgian College Research Ethics Board (REB)
Are you passionate about advancing ethical research and contributing your expertise to a meaningful institutional process?
The Research Ethics Board is seeking new members to support the review of research involving human participants conducted within, or by members of, Georgian College.
As a member, you will:
β Contribute to upholding the highest standards of ethical research
β Review studies alongside a multidisciplinary team
β Apply and promote the core principles of ethical research: Respect for Persons, Concern for Welfare, and Justice
Who can apply?
We welcome faculty, staff, and community members with knowledge of research and the college environment. Subject matter expertise is an asset.
Time commitment:
Approximately 5 hours per month, including a monthly meeting and application reviews.
This is a valuable opportunity to engage with impactful research while contributing to a culture of integrity and accountability at Georgian.
