No Child Left Behind Tutoring Services Est. In 2017, we’ve been helping students thrive across Ontario. 1:1 sessions available for students in SK - grade 12 in Angus, Barrie, and Midland.

We offer virtual sessions for those who live out of these areas. Homeschool options are also available! Since 2017, No Child Left Behind has been serving the Barrie area. My experience in teacher's college was that there is not enough time for teachers to give that one-on-one experience to each child when the government is pushing larger and larger classroom sizes on a single teacher. I offer struggling children a chance for that one-on-one experience while completing activities that meet their needs and areas that they struggle in. We have survived the global pandemic and because of it we will offer online services permanently. You do not need to be local for these sessions as we have students on roster from Niagara Falls and Windsor. A nice silver lining from everything we’ve had to endure. French tutoring is available, but space is very limited. If you are interested please message me for more information!

I knew it was coming and I was still surprised!

Apparently bedazzling is all the rage with my pr***en students. One borrowed my lip balm and bedazzled the lid for me in the prettiest pink crystals!

Fun fact about me;
I only use one brand and one scent of lip balm. So she made this cap interchangeable for my car lip balm, my purse lip balm, or my night stand lip balm. Whenever I need to feel fancy, the sparkle is there.

My students are so thoughtful and it means so much to me. If you’ve been here long enough, you know I keep everything I’ve been given over the last 9 years. Time to add this to my collection 😂🩷

Here is our updated availability going into the long weekend!

We have had so many new clients enroll with us over the last two weeks. We are so excited to get to know all our new students and start their journey to success.

We have 1 spot available for tutoring in Midland starting next Saturday! This is a spot for SK - Grade 8 level students.

It’s always helpful when teachers are on the same page. I have 5 students in grade 7 this year and all of them were learning exponents at the same time. It also helps that 2 are in the same class!

This unit led into BEDMAS this week so the students are now prepared to tackle long equations that include exponents.

My students were also a little grumpy with me as I do not allow calculators in our lessons until grade 9 unless we are dealing with uneven square roots. So they worked hard and did all this by hand. Thus the small mistakes here and there. I don’t expect perfection, just that they try their best when given a task.

It’s also funny to see the state of my handwriting in this case. I do a lot of writing upside down and backwards as I don’t turn the page back to me. I will write so the students can see exactly what I’m doing as I do it. So please don’t mind how messy it is compared to my regular posts. 😂

Hello Everyone!

I come to you today from Day 3 at RVH. I am dealing with a family emergency this week. I am ok but I need to be present for my boyfriend as he’s been admitted to the hospital. He’s ok (it’s a condition he has had for almost half his life) but he’s where he needs to be at this time. I thought I would be able to leave once he got a bed but unfortunately he’s not retaining all the information that the dr’s give him so I have to stay until he goes home.

I am taking each day as it comes. If he is not discharged by the end of each day, I will let the clients for the next day know I am not coming in.

As soon as he’s home, I will be back to work.
I’m handling all admin work from here. Please bear with me as it may take a bit to answer messages.

My staff are holding down the fort and for that I am so grateful. I appreciate all my clients and their understanding for me having to cancel.

As always, thank you for your business. Being self employed has made it so I can be with my family in times of need. I’m forever grateful for those who allow to make that possible.

Rusty Brain Syndrome is what I call when students take a long time off and forget things. Marco did pretty good for his first day back since the end of June.

He’s up 19% with his reading but didn’t quite reach his goal of 92 words for spelling. We win some, we lose some. I know all the kids who are coming back this week/next week will do just fine once we shake the rust off a little bit.
