I have opened Dakota up to Thursdays in Barrie as we have had a few new inquiries for that location.

I am so excited to announce that Dakota will be joining our team. She is fresh out of teachers college at Lakehead University. She will be doing training with us the last 2 weeks of August in order to be ready for everyone come September! I will be expanding her to Barrie as well depending on the demand. The only downside is she does not help with French.

What a day I’ve had!

I have spent the day answering messages and sending out reminder messages. If you have received a message from me, please respond when you can as spots are filling fast! I was only able to get half way through the list of “to be contacted” clients today. I’ll start bright and early tomorrow.

I have secured a hire for our Angus and Barrie locations. More information will come out once I have finished registration. I have another interview booked for Wednesday with a possible French tutor as well!!

Bella finished spelling level 4 yesterday. She made it snow with giant chunks of paper. She has been working on completing level 4 for a few months now so she was very proud of herself!

Midland is completely full! If anyone is looking for a spot, please let me know and I will start a wait list. Once the waitlist gets big enough, I’ll hire a second tutor to begin the expansion of that location.

There are 2 spots available with me. All of my tutors availability is currently listed. I have an interview scheduled tomorrow to see if we can find a replacement for Pearl. If the interview is successful, I will update the availability. Ideally I would like to hire two tutors but so far it’s not looking like that will happen.

I did try to find a French tutor but the only person who was qualified thought it was a virtual position and is moving to France next week. So at this time, we will not be offering French services come September. I will keep looking though!

Please keep in mind that if you send your top 3 picks starting tomorrow, I will not respond until 8am on August 1. I answer them in the order they come in.

There was mass confusion yesterday, and for that I apologize.

I put a lot of information into the captions of my posts because it would overload the graphics I make otherwise. Please read my captions I write because you’ll miss information otherwise.

Many people saw the picture posted yesterday and thought I completed registration without them. As I posted a while ago, I was doing registration for my students this past weekend to ensure everyone got a spot before I opened it to everyone. I have cut my hours and split the remaining hours between 3 locations. So some of my students had to go with my staff this year. Trust me, it was not easy to do.

That’s why I don’t prioritize families based on any factors. Registration always has been and always will be first come, first serve. I post a lot leading up to these events as reminders.

I will be posting the updated schedule tomorrow so parents can be prepared for the chaos on Saturday.

Holy moly.

It has been a crazy few days. I did registration for my students only and I’m glad I did. It was so chaotic. I am almost completely full and I had to change my Wednesdays from virtual only to in person in Barrie in hopes that I could fit more kids in.

Again, I will apologize that not everyone was able to get a spot with me. I tried my best and I very regrettably was not able to fit everyone in. I had to give some students to my staff and some won’t be returning because of my lack of availability.

These are the only 2 spots I have left with just me. I will post the whole staff schedule again tomorrow as we have had a few changes. Staff registration opens this Saturday at 8am! Please be patient with me as my family is also hosting a yard sale that day.
