We're planning to continue remote delivery wherever possible for the fall semester, with in-person, on-campus activity permitted only when necessary. We intend to confirm these details in mid-June.

A fall semester update for future students:

“You probably have a lot of questions about the fall semester and whether our temporary campus closure due to COVID-19 will impact your plans to begin your college studies. Classes and services are still running at Georgian, the way we operate just looks a little different right now.

We continue to act on the advice of our public health authorities and the Government of Ontario as the situation evolves. We’ve committed to delivering our summer semester online and we’re hopeful that we will be back in regular classes for the fall semester. But if not, rest assured Georgian will be ready with a plan.” 🍁

Architectural Technician at Georgian College!

Get the experience employers want with two co-op work terms. Be ready to work alongside architects, designers and project managers.

While developing skills in architectural drafting and design as well as an understanding of the building design and construction process, students take courses in computer-aided drafting and project design, building codes, contracts and specifications.

Teamwork and project-based learning is emphasized. This program is common with the first four semesters of the Architectural Technology program and graduates may choose to continue into the third year of that program.

It’s final exams season!

Winter semester is on the finish line, and that might be one of the most challenging times of the studying season. Here are some things for you guys to pay attention to this week:

1. Planning is everything! Take some time to set up an exam schedule, with all the times and dates, and, of course, with time for you to prepare for the finals. Make sure to plan some breaks as well so you keep yourself motivated!
2. Take your time… Even though school is very important, don’t give up on your self-care routine: eat healthy, work out, and have a good night sleep.
3. Use your time wisely - being focused and organized is key! Resist the temptation to jump into answers right away - be sure to read and understand the question.

And then… Celebrate!
This week might be a hard one but always remember why you started in the first place!
