Please hold off on practising writing letters and your children's names until children have gone through these important phases of handwriting 🙏 I know we often feel like our children need to write their name before they start school but they really don't. Phoebe had no interest in even putting pencil to paper in kinder, and now she loves writing in grade 1, as her body and brain are now ready. First good snowman snow of the year!

Our wonderful and generous neighbours at Indrive donated some pumpkins to us yesterday so we were able to have lots of fun painting pumpkins for Halloween.

So much curiosity in the world around us! Our friends have been noticing and pointing out lots of different insects in our yard lately. We have found pill bugs, centipedes, worms, ladybugs, rove beetles, snails, and stick bugs.
