Georgian alumni are invited back to Barrie Campus for the Drum Social, hosted by Georgian’s Indigenous Resource Centre in partnership with Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin.

This social celebration of traditional Indigenous language, culture, song and dance offers a welcoming space for all to gather, learn, experience and connect as a community. Join in the dances, feel the beat of the drum, explore vendors and take part in shared learning and active participation.

Join us Saturday, Oct. 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Barrie Campus gymnasium (J building).

Everyone is welcome and no RSVP is required.

What a day! ⛳

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our golfers, sponsors, donors and friends, the 34th Georgian College Golf Classic presented by belairdirect raised $240,000 in net cash proceeds for Georgian students!

That brings the Georgian Golf Classic’s cumulative total to more than $2 million raised for awards, scholarships and bursaries, as well as essential supports like the Georgian FoodLocker.

From a full day on the course to student-led activations, friendly competition, great food, an exciting auction and plenty of memorable moments along the way, the Georgian Golf Classic brought our community together for an incredible day in support of Georgian students.

To you, our alumni supporters and volunteers, and to everyone who joined us at The Club at Bond Head, donated, bid, purchased raffle tickets, volunteered or helped bring this incredible day to life, thank you!

Opening doors for the next generation of skilled trades professionals. 🛠️

Today, Georgian College announced its third cohort of Schulich Builders, with 10 talented students receiving scholarships valued at $20,000 or $40,000 as they pursue careers in the skilled trades.

We’re incredibly grateful to The Schulich Foundation for its continued investment in Georgian students. Since 2024, 30 Schulich Builders at Georgian have received this transformational support, helping ease the financial pressures of tuition, tools and living expenses so students can focus on their education and their futures.

Last night, 374 (wow!!!) Georgian alumni, students, employees, retirees and friends came together for University and College Night with the Toronto Blue Jays! ⚾💙🐻

There’s nothing we love more than connecting with our Georgian community, and what a night it was! We snapped a few shots from the stands to capture the fun, the connections and plenty of Grizzly spirit.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night such a success.

The Georgian College Alumni Association hosts events throughout the year, giving our grads plenty of opportunities to reconnect with their Grizzly roots and with each other.
