Justyna Bronson (class of 2026) is part of the first graduating cohort of Georgian’s Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing program. After more than a decade working in speech therapy while raising her family, she found the right time to follow her passion for nursing and prepare to give back to her community.

For Ana Stoican (class of 2017), Georgian College has been a place to grow as a nurse, discover new possibilities and find her voice as a writer.

After beginning her Georgian journey in Pre-Health Sciences and continuing through Practical Nursing, Ana is now studying in the Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing RPN to BScN Advanced Standing Pathway (Bridge) program. Along the way, she discovered a powerful connection between nursing and poetry — two passions rooted in compassion, healing and the stories we carry.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a special group of alumni back to the Barrie Campus to celebrate 30 years since they started their Georgian journeys.

Advertising graduates Tara Leake (class of 1998) and Christen Harvey (class of 1998), along with Office Administration – Medical graduate Shannon Alldred (class of 1998) and Natasha Lapointe first met during their time at Georgian and have stayed close friends ever since. Thirty years later, they returned to where it all began to reconnect, share memories and celebrate the friendships that have stood the test of time. It was a wonderful reminder that some of the most meaningful connections made at Georgian extend far beyond graduation.
