One week today Donna Douglas, Randy Johnson and others will be sharing stories of Barrie's old The American Hotel or known as The Yank and Barrie's Town Crier will be telling tales of Barrie's Sinners and Saints.

Wow, what a night of Barrie Show and Tell last night! We had a full house to hear Willard Kinzie share a fun and fascinating hiking story, Dr Rick Irvin share several touching stories that highlighted the importance of capturing your stories and many other stories. Thank you everyone who came out and shared and those who came to listen. A special thank you to my fellow Personal Historian, Deborah Perham who drove from Long Island NY with her daughter just for Show & Tell. Here's some photos. I'll try to get video up of the stories soon.

Show & Tell this Monday June 9 will be an exciting one. Grand storytellers Willard Kinzie and Dr. Rick Irvin will be joining us and sharing their stories. Please come out for what is sure to be a fascinating night. Williams Cafe at 7:00. Bring an item and tell a story.

It was the night of the dresses at Show & Tell Barrie. From a wedding dress to a christening dress made from a wedding dress to a christening dress handed down from the early 1900s. All amazing. Thank you everyone. Next Show & Tell is June 9. Let's honour our fathers for Father's Day.
