This session is designed for active and retired professionals in uniform who are affected by PTSD, offering a grounded, experiential space to reconnect with presence, regulation, and trust—alongside horses who respond to authenticity over performance.
Through guided interaction and reflection, participants are invited to explore clarity, communication, and self-awareness at their own pace, in a respectful and supportive environment.

10 years ago I started on a path that led me to meet incredible people.
This past week end I was rewarded with a certifcate of experience and growth.
This is not a badge of honor for me.
It's a badge of commitment to keep getting better at what I do.
Thank you Tracey Evans for being a mentor and a friend, and thank you to the Cartier Farms - Equine Assisted Learning crew for designing an amazing curriculum and trusting other people with it.

Three days. Countless conversations. So much learning.
This weekend, I had the privilege of spending time with an incredible group of Cartier Equine Assisted Learning facilitators and business owners, all committed to growing, learning, and refining our craft. The focus was continuing education—honing our skills, deepening our understanding, and returning to the foundations that make this work so impactful.
What energized me most was being surrounded by like-minded people who share a passion for learning, a respect for the wisdom of horses, and a genuine commitment to helping others grow.
Beyond the workshops and discussions, it was the connections that made this weekend special—meeting new peopel, reconnecting with familiar faces, exchanging ideas, and being reminded that we are part of a supportive and inspiring community.
I return home with new insights, renewed motivation, and a full heart. Grateful for everyone who contributed their knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm throughout the weekend.
Here's to continuing to learn, grow, and make a difference—one horse, one conversation, and one experience at a time.
Thank you Dreamwinds Equine Assisted Learning Centre and Cartier Farms - Equine Assisted Learning for coming to Ontario for this.
