Let’s welcome Mila! 👏
Mila is a student I teach at Modern Music Studio, here in Barrie.
She’s 6 years old, and has been taking lessons for almost a year now. Her favourite things to do are improv (as she’s showing us here), and clap backs! 👏🎹🥰

I happen to work with her grandmother at Victoria Village- small world! Both her and her daughter (Mila’s mom), are psw’s (aka super heroes!) 💪

To wrap up the December video recital, here’s Viera playing ‘Storybook Love’ from the Princess Bride. This is the first time I’m hearing her play the piece! It’s so nice when students take initiative like this. Beautiful piece, and beautifully played, Viera! ✨

Although the timing is a little off, (being that Christmas has passed already), Viera revives the spirit with ‘Christmas is Coming’ from Charlie Brown’s Christmas. Love the energy! Awesome job, Viera! 🎹🎄

Michael is playing ‘Bluebird,’ by an artist I listen to from time to time- Alexis Ffrench. It’s so nice when your students learn pieces from your playlist… thanks, Michael! 😁 You’re sounding great! 🎵

Janis is playing an RCM grade 3 piece, called Arabesque. No easy task! Well done, Janis! 🎹

Here’s Jeremy again, in his 3rd piano lesson, playing ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’ 🎶 Look at the determination. Nicely done!! ☺️
