Students, families, and friends had an amazing time at our Terry Fox Run on Thursday!

We are so proud of our UVA community for coming together to support such an important cause and continue Terry Fox’s incredible legacy. As a school, we raised an incredible $2,120 for cancer research! Way to go, UVA!

Our students also showed amazing determination, running a combined total of 118 KM! What an accomplishment!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, joined us, cheered on our students, and helped make the day so special. We are so grateful for the support of our wonderful school community and proud of our students for showing that together, we can make a difference!

Our teachers have officially set up their Terry Fox class teams! ❤️ Families and friends can now donate directly to their class team and help us come together to support cancer research and continue Terry Fox’s incredible legacy. Every donation makes a difference!

We hope to see you all on Thursday!

We let our students guess how old their teachers are… what could possibly go wrong?

Safe to say, we got a few surprises! Some were pretty close… others, not so much! Never a dull moment at UVA!

UVA students celebrated International Dot Day!

Our Kindergarten to Grade 3 students had a wonderful time celebrating creativity, courage, and self-expression. Inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, students created their own unique artwork and discovered that even the smallest mark can turn into something amazing!

A fun day of creativity and making our mark at UVA!

What a wonderful and successful Capstone Night at Urban Village Academy!

Last night, families had the opportunity to travel through time as they explored the fascinating worlds of Ancient Rome, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Africa, Ancient China, and Ancient Greece. Throughout each classroom, parents were able to see, hear, and experience the incredible learning that took place through student projects, presentations, displays, and hands-on activities.

Our students proudly shared their knowledge, creativity, and hard work, demonstrating the dedication and effort they have put into their learning journey. It was truly inspiring to watch their confidence shine as they presented to their families and guests.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our teachers, students, and families for making this evening such a memorable success. Your commitment, enthusiasm, and support helped create an amazing celebration of learning.

Congratulations to everyone on your outstanding presentations and incredible work. What a fantastic way to showcase the learning happening at UVA!
