Congratulations to Shihan Chris Davison

We are proud to announce that Renshi Chris Davison has been officially promoted to the esteemed title of Shihan, marking a new milestone in his lifelong martial arts journey.

This honour was presented by the World Kubodo Federation’s Chief Instructors Hanshi Alain Sailly and Hanshi John Therien at the conclusion of an incredible weekend of martial arts training and celebration during Capital Conquest 2025.

The title of Shihan recognizes not only technical excellence, but also leadership, mentorship, and the embodiment of martial arts spirit both on and off the mat. Shihan Chris continues to inspire students, instructors, and fellow martial artists through his dedication, humility, and passion for teaching.

We also wish to extend our congratulations to Hanshi John Therien on his promotion to 10th Degree Black Belt, an extraordinary achievement and a moment of great pride for the global martial arts community.

Capital Conquest 2025 was truly a weekend to remember, a celebration of tradition, unity, and lifelong pursuit of mastery.

Congratulations, Shihan Chris, on this well-deserved recognition of your leadership and commitment to the martial arts.
