✨Empowering parents to support their struggling learners through the middle years so they can be confident and successful

06/18/2026

Supporting your child through the middle years is more than just providing academic support.

It's about showing up for the things that are important to them.

And cheering for them every step of the way.

Through the ups and the downs.

Are you in the thick of Bleacher season?

Parenting can feel like a lonely venture, especially through the valley of middle years.

But you don't have to journey alone. We're in this together!

Cheering you on. 💜

They are why I do what I do.

After teaching in the classroom for over 13 years, I wanted to explore alternatives for my own children which has opened a whole new world of adventures and opportunities.

And I’ve got a new video that dives deeper into executive function skills and a resource that goes with it.

The effort is there. The intention is there. But the wiring isn’t working the way we expect it to yet. They just need some extra supports to help along the way.

Executive functioning is the part of the brain that helps us plan, start, and follow through. And it’s still developing well into the mid-20s. Middle school is right in the thick of it.

So when your kid stares at the page and does nothing — that isn’t attitude. That’s a brain that hasn’t yet learned how to launch itself.

The good news? It’s a skill. It can be built. It just requires a little extra support from you.

This week’s video breaks it all down. Link is in my bio, or comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the free resource I made for parents in exactly this situation.
