Some of our staff are onto new adventures next school year and we want to wish them the best of luck on their new adventures ! Thank you Mrs. Leibel , Miss Bell, Mrs. Holmes and Miss Peterson for being a part of our Bulldog Family ! 💙🐾

In the 1996-1997 school year , Balcarres School welcomed a new staff member. There was no way to know that a legend was in the making . 💙

Over the past 30 years , Mrs.Kotylak has taught every grade from 1-4 with unwavering passion and determination, always ensuring her students feel successful in their own unique ways .

She created a classroom where every child was supported , valued and encouraged to grow .

Mrs.Kotylak shared her love of agriculture, culture, animals , cooking and family with each student fortunate enough to learn along side of her.

Through these passions , she not only taught curriculum- but also life lessons, connections and pride in who they are .

Her impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls , leaving a legacy in the hearts of generations of Balcarres School Students and staff !

& With the end of our school year comes the end of an amazing
30 year career at Balcarres Community School !!

This afternoon we celebrated the growth and learning of all our wonderful bulldog students. We have been so lucky to learn together all year and to gather today to celebrate our bulldog school community. Below are each grade getting their awards, the golden paw winners, subject award winners and Honour Roll winners. Then at the end is the arts and sport award winners.
Some students were missing today so we will make sure to get them their awards when we see them next.
