We are sorry for the late notice but we will be closing our programs today Wed Jan 29. My staff made a good effort to get there but they are either stuck or had to turn around. We do not have enough staff to met ratios. Staff safety are one of my top priorities.

I would like to send my Appreciation to all people working in child care. Not only do we have dedicated ECE'S but we have many people with other degrees and specialities such CYW. The caring for children that these heartful individuals execute is not only watching youngsters while their families are at work but also identifying challenges developmentally that children struggle with. This leads to referring for early intervention so each child can have the best start. The wealth of knowledge that our staff must have ranges to how to put together an appropriate stimulating program to how to de escalate situations and identify when a child is in distress. Our staff show up each day with a smile ready for whatever debacle may be unfolding. These individuals have the best sense of humor, trust me we have to laugh! We build supportive and loving bonds with the families we serve. This happens during normal times but in the last 18 months we have rised to the challenges that covid has thrown at us. Our school age teams supported students during emergency childcare while schools were closed and our preschool and toddler teams integrated new children without parents being allowed in the spaces. Not to mention the extra cleaning and screening procedures. To say I am proud of my team is an understatement. I say, walk proud and know your value to our communities!

Hi Families
The good news is finally here! We have been approved to provide our families with Emergency School Age Care in Holstein. This is free if you qualify as an essential worker. We would love to host your children to be with us during these uneasy and crazy times. Both the county and I will be working over the weekend to make sure that those who qualify for care are approved and are booked in. This decision was late coming but we are grateful to have the approval.
