The Ontario Skaters Promotional Contest is back for its 38th year!

Clubs and skating schools across Ontario have the opportunity to raise funds, support their programming, and help promote figure skating in their local communities. ⛸️

🔹 Contest Period: September 2, 2026 to May 7, 2027
🔹 Return deadline: May 21, 2027
🔹 Prize Draw: June 4, 2027 at 12:00 PM EST

2027 Prize Highlights:
➡️ 2027 Nissan Kicks (First Prize)
➡️ Outdoor Patio Set with Fire Table
➡️13" iPad Air
➡️ Three $1,000 Costco Gift Cards
➡️ Two pairs of Apple AirPods Pro 3
➡️Five $300 Visa Gift Cards
A total of 13 prizes will be awarded!

Interested clubs and skating schools can submit their Promotional Contest Order Form by March 12, 2027.

Registration opens August 10 for all fall programs with Ayr skating club. If you’re new to the ice, returning after a break, chasing a dream or just learning a new skill we’ve got the coaches and mentorship to help you learn and achieve your goals. We offer PreCanSkate, CanSkate, teen and adult learn to skate as well as Intro to StarSkate, and StarSkate for aspiring figure skaters.

And that’s a wrap on the 2025/26 season for ASC. Our skaters have had such a wonderful year and we are so proud of all of you. Almost every skater arrives with a parent and the parents this year have also been some of the best. Whether you are 3, 13, 23, 33, 43 or even 73 we have got a class for you and we would be thrilled to help you find your joy on the ice. The dedication you all have is inspiring and we can’t wait to see you all in the fall. But for now it’s time for summer and lots of construction at the rink. We officially said goodbye to our club room tonight but don’t fret we are just down the hall now but it was still tough to close that door one last time. ⛸️🩷…..and yes we are planning one more end of year youth dance. 💃 date tbd.

Just a few skate days left for our Star 1 skaters for the Spring season. It’s a short season but we always see so much progress in these 6 weeks.

Yesterday 9 skaters from Ayr Skating Club travelled to London for an end of year Bring on the Fun competition. These 9 skaters participated in 15 different events over 9 hours and skated very well in each and every event. They even took home the award for best costumes! Way to go girls we are so proud of you. 👏 🥳 ⛸️🩷 A huge Thank you to our coaches who have the vision and help create these wonderful memories. 👏 👏
