Aaaaaand, We’re BACK! School starts next week and with that comes the annual ‘Welcome Back BBQ’ for the students! But we need YOUR help. Is there a BBQ that we can borrow out there on Wednesday Sept 7th?? We would need it delivered to the school around 11:00 AM if possible. Please reply to this post if you can help us out and we can make arrangements. THANK YOU in advance!! Avonlea School

Playground Project Update:

We have trees!!!! These beauties are coming along nicely. We look forward to them creating shelter from the wind for the kids in the future.

We got you high school kids! Your tables have arrived. Can you believe these kids had no where to sit outside. AND, our new basketball backboards, rims and chain nets just arrived this week! We are in communications with Kris McNaughton, owner of Flash Welding to put these together for us in the early parts of summer! Thank you so much Kris!

We have so much more planned. It’s all starting to come together. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this project! It’s amazing what can happen when a community comes together and we have a great one!
