FRC 4343: MaxTech

Provincials 2024 Recap! Our team played with our best efforts till the very end! We got chosen to be in alliance 5 with our alliance captain and in the science division. 💙💛

MaxTech 4343 had a great day at North Bay day 1! MaxTech ended day 1 in 3rd place and is excited for what day 2 has to offer!

First event of the season is complete! We were incredibly grateful to be a part of Alliance 5 with teams and ! We would also like to thank our MPP , Ms. Miranda and Ms. Crowe for attending the event and showing their tremendous support! This weekend was a roller coaster, especially for our driving and scouting team. Our awards team and presenters worked hard to showcase our team and won us the Engineering Inspiration award for the second year in a row! Once again, thank you for stopping by the pits and visiting our concessions booth!

Today we are celebrating International Women’s Day! This year is all about Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress! We are here today to show appreciation to our girls and mentors of MaxTech, whom have been working hard with greatest efforts towards the competition season. Special mention to our mentors, Hannah, Ms. Martini and Margaret for dedicating time to work alongside the team to provide guidance and assistance for the past years. Continuing to inspire and empower as role models for the students to follow by example. 💙💛

As the competition dates approach, we would like to extend an invitation to the SMK community to watch and cheer the team on at the 2024 FRC competition in Newmarket! 💙💛

Here is our recap post for Build Season Week 4-6! Our robot has been coming together with tremendous progress and work from our Manufacturing, Design and Electrical divisions. The Sponsorship and Awards team has worked hard during these build season weeks and has officially submitted for the 2024 season! Our weekly team meetings have been collaborative and fun. Here are some recap photos for Build Season Week 1-3! Our team and divisions have been working hard and making great progress towards this competition season. The chassis is moving and autos are working well. Robot CAD is also near to completion and the fabricating process has begun. Awaiting for more progress to come for this build season! 💙💛

MaxTech 4343 had a blast at last Sunday’s STEMley Cup, hosted at St. Mary’s CHS by and .x.5406! It was a fantastic opportunity for our new members to see what an FRC event is about before entering build season in January. We are so proud of our rookie members for adapting to this new environment and developing their skills to prepare for the upcoming months ahead of us. Our alliance placed 4th overall and had the 6th highest OPR, which is a fantastic result to hear as we progress towards build season! 💙💛

We will be collecting donations from today until February 24th. Bring any old clothing, household textiles, or small household goods.

Clothes and textiles should be in bags, and household goods should be in tightly packed boxes.
