Peace to your home, the Earth!

The Organizing Committee of the Victory Day 70 celebration, in cooperation with the Russian-Canadian Cultural Aid Society announces a contest of children's visual art works: Peace to your home, the Earth!
Participants of the contest:
- The competition is open to all children aged up to 18 years inclusive.
Requirements for work:
- Accepted works should correspond to the following topics: "Peace to your house, the Earth!", "Victory Day", "Thank you for the victory grandfather", "We want peace", etc…
- Drawing must be in format A3 or A4.
- Work’s style is free (pencil, watercolours, markers, etc.)
Competition procedure:
- Works need to send by May 1, 2015 by e-mail: [email protected]. You must specify the contact's name and the child's age, phone number and email address of parents.
- Accepted one work per one participant.
Contest results:
- Contest results will be announced on May 4, 2015.
- Winners are chosen by a jury based on age categories: up to 7 years, from 8 to 12 years, and from 13 to 18 years.
- Works will take part of the exhibition during celebration of Victory Day May 9, 2015.
- All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation and a gift.
- The winners will be awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.
The grand awards ceremony will be held during the concert at Earl Bales Park May 9, 2015.
The Organizing Committee will give children’s works to the Canadian Association of Veterans of the Second World War from the Soviet Union.

Конкурс детского рисунка «Мир дому твоему, Земля!»

В рамках мероприятий, посвященных празднованию 70-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной Войне, Оргкомитет по празднованию Дня Победы, совместно с Русско-Канадским культурно-просветительным обществом объявляет конкурс детского рисунка:
«Мир дому твоему, Земля!»

Участники конкурса:
- В конкурсе могут принять участие дети в возрасте до 18 лет включительно.

Требования к работам:
- Для участия в конкурсе принимаются рисунки, соответствующие тематике конкурса («День Победы», «Спасибо деду за Победу», «Нам нужен мир» и др).
- Рисунок должен быть исполнен на бумаге формата А3 или А4.
- Стиль – свободный (карандаш, цветные карандаши, акварель, фломастеры и т.д.)

Порядок проведения конкурса:
- Рисунок необходимо отправить до 1 мая 2015 г по электронной почте: [email protected]. Необходимо указать контакты: имя и возраст ребенка, номер телефона и адрес электронной почты родителей.
- Принимается 1 рисунок от одного участника.

Подведение итогов:
- Подведение итогов: 4 мая 2015 года.
- Победители выбираются жюри с учетом итогов голосования на сайте в возрастных категориях: до 7 лет, с 8-ми до 12-ти лет, с 13-ти до 18-ти лет.
- Работы примут участие в выставке на праздновании Дня Победы 9 мая 2015 года
- Все участники получат Сертификат участника и подарок.
- Победители конкурса будут отмечены памятными подарками и дипломами.

Торжественное награждение пройдет во время праздничного концерта в Earl Bales Park 9 мая 2015 года.

Оргкомитет передаст рисунки Канадской ассоциации ветеранов Второй мировой войны из Советского Союза.
