Summerhill Tutorials is a boutique tutoring service offering one-on-one private online remedial and enrichment teaching to students in Toronto and the GTA. Established in 1997 by former classroom teacher Linda Price, we are a proud part of the York Region small business community. We are currently offering virtual tutoring sessions only, allowing us to work with students Canada-wide. Founded by Linda Price (a former teacher at Montcrest and Crescent Schools) in 1997, Summerhill Tutorials offers at-home tutoring in all subjects, from Grades 1 - 12, including AP Courses, IB Programs, and University Courses. Summerhill Tutorials also offers preparation for CAT, SSAT, PSAT and SAT examinations, as well as academic coaching and online instruction. At Summerhill Tutorials, our goal is to not only assist in developing a student’s academic abilities, but to promote self-confidence and creative thinking. By doing so, we foster proactive, creative, independent, and capable learners who attain results they can be proud of! Together we will build the steppingstones to success in both school and in life. Please feel free to forward this page on to any / all interested parents, students and teachers! Spring has just begun, but I’m excited to announce Summerhill Tutorials’ summer programming that caters to all ages and grade levels:

Summer School Support
For students in high school and university who need some extra help with their summer courses. All subjects!

Summer Review and/or Look Ahead
Spend some time reviewing concepts and skills from the previous school year in preparation for the next grade. Alternatively or in conjunction with review, preview the curriculum for the upcoming school year so that students start back to class in September feeling confident and prepared!

Standardized Test Preparation
Perfect for students looking for admissions to private schools or to American universities! We support with any/all standardized tests - CAT, SSAT, PSAT, ACT, SAT, MCAT, & LSAT!

As always, no package purchase or buy-in is required for our tutoring services. While I generally recommend one hour per week per subject, summer is a more fluid time for students - we can be flexible and work around summer camp and job hours!

Hello October!

09/30/2024

We acknowledge that the Anishinaabe lands on which we live and work are the traditional and treaty territory of the Chippewas of Georgina Island, as well as many other Nations whose presence here continues to this day.

We also recognize the tragic legacy of residential schools, the missing children, the families left behind, and the survivors of those institutions.

We reflect on how we can play a role in reconciliation, as it is a shared responsibility that can only improve our collective futures.
