Atlin School

HoopLife is coming to Atlin School! Students will be involved in a spring basketball camp on Monday and Tuesday afternoons (May 4-5). There will also be an After School Community Basketball Clinic on Monday from 3:30-5:30 pm. Many thanks to Taku River Tlingit First Nation for bringing these events to our community!

Today is the big day for checking out our Heritage Fair at the Atlin School Gymnasium! The results are in, and we sincerely want to thank our judges Katy Rittwage, Pierrette Desrochers-Kavanagh, Wayne Carlick, Ian Coster, Mike Strange, and Bart de Haas for spending the day with us and helping us with the very difficult task of determining our Top 3 Projects and Special Award recipients!

Come by today from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM to check out the Atlin School Heritage Fair!

Help us get these "Blast From The Past" books back to their original owners! come by the school this Friday for the Heritage Fair to view and reunite these books to their rightful place!

The Atlin School Heritage Fair is just around the corner! Student projects will be judged on Thursday, followed by a public viewing on Friday. Come see the incredible work our students have put together. You won’t want to miss it!

Monday, April 27, is a Professional Development day for our staff. Students get a well-deserved break! 🍎📚
School staff will be "leveling up" with training, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, April 28, refreshed and ready to learn!

Spring Basketball Camp with HoopLife

In partnership with Taku River Tlingit First Nation, Atlin School is excited to bring a fun and active Spring Basketball Camp for youth of all ages with activities led by HoopLife! Come out to build skills, stay active, and enjoy the game!

Monday (May 4)
⏱ Open Gym Wellness Workshop (Recess): 12:30 – 1:00 PM
⏱ K–Grade 2: 1:00 – 2:00 PM
⏱ Grade 4–7 & High School: 2:00 – 3:00 PM
⏱ After-School Community Basketball Clinic (All Ages): 3:30 – 5:30 PM

Tuesday (May 5)

📝 Registration Info:
• Registration is open for the After-School Community Clinic (all ages and skill levels welcome)
• No registration required for K–12 daytime sessions (students will join as part of their school day)

We had a blast playing handball at SOS today! It was also Dress Up as a Staff/Student Day!
