The Justice Webinar and Speaker Series (J-Series) hosts scholarly, research, and arts focused events online through the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science at Athabasca University. We profile national and international scholars who address topics pertaining to social and transformative justice, anti-oppression, and equity. The primary goal of the J-Series is to increase capacities for justice, broadly conceived, throughout our communities, research initiatives, and teaching praxis. We host events that are collaborative and participatory, bringing grassroots movements, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions together in conversation and towards tangible action.
