Stepping Stones For Tiny Hands

So here is a short poem …..
Our little friend, how time has flown,
You have laughed and learned and my you have grown.
Our days were spent with having fun and exploring.
Each day was an adventure and never boring.
we have sung our songs and danced and played games.
We ll forever cherish these special days
Keep asking questions and trying new things .
Keep being kind and embrace what life may bring.
I ll miss you but don’t feel blue
My heart holds the happiest memories of you .
Keeping laughing, playing and enjoy each day .
I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way

Today is a happy and sad day all in one.
I have had the pleasure of watching Dj grow the last few years. He came to me at the age of one. Now it is time for him to move to his next chapter. Off to kindergarten!! Good luck Dj. We had a fun day to celebrate you

Today each child brought in a fruit. We cleaned and cut up. Then placed into a bowl to make friendship fruit salad for lunch

We headed out this morning. Found some strawberries. Guess what we made? Mmmmm

Some fun activities we have been doing.
We have had some fun watermelon sensory rice play.
Today was all bran, sand with diggers and rocks
The children loved to place the green felt on the body part as I was singing.

What should we do on a rainy day?
The children thought putting new toys out would be fun. Let’s also do farm animals and corn. We sang old McDonald and made animal sounds.
Let’s also do some felt stories to learn counting.
Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar ?
I think it might have been Benny.
We also met with Fred the book worm. He was such a silly guy. We had to keep looking for him and guess the colour of book he was hiding behind. We learnt a lot of things with our play today.
The rain didn’t bother us
