The City of Armstrong has issued a Precautionary Water Quality Advisory, effective immediately, due to low chlorine residuals in the water distribution system.

This advisory applies to:

• City of Armstrong
• Highland Park Waterworks
• Lansdowne Waterworks
• Round Prairie Waterworks
• Silver Star Waterworks
• Stardel Waterworks
• Pleasant Valley Waterworks

As a precaution, individuals with weakened immune systems and those requiring additional protection should bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for:

✅ Drinking
✅ Brushing teeth
✅ Washing fruits and vegetables
✅ Making beverages or ice
✅ Preparing food

💧 Bottled or distilled water may also be used.

City crews are actively flushing water lines and conducting continuous testing throughout the distribution system. Updates will be provided as they become available.

A huge thank you to vice principal of early learning at school district 83 Allison Deboer for taking the time to visit Kare-A-Lot a few weeks ago. This is just one of many things Allison and SD83 are doing to make sure the transition to kindergarten is a smooth and comfortable one.

Our last day with Ms.Avery 🥲 What a blessing it was to have her with us for three weeks. We certainly gave you plenty of opportunities to polish your guiding and caring skills 😬😂 Thank you for the amazing activities from The very hungry caterpillar puppet stories and painting to planting our very own plants. . We’ve had so much fun. Congratulations on officially being an early childhood educator. The Armstrong Montessori Academy is SO lucky to have you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
