Join us at our grand finale concert, on the first day of Summer, June 20th at 3pm! " It's Summertime- A Musical Celebration" presented by all of our awesome Wild Music School musicians.
Everyone welcome- we look forward to sharing the music with you.
This concert is by donation and will also be a fundraiser for our WMS Bursary Fund, bringing music classes and instruments to many more children in Antigonish community. This fund has made it possible for 60 students at Antigonish Education Centre to learn a String instrument this school year in the Fiddle Strings Program. The Fiddle Strings Orchestra will have it's debut performance at this special concert so please come out and support our young musicians.

It was a joy to perform with the Antigonish Choral Ensemble, last weekend, as soloist and Rose Trio with Amy Hendricks and Hayley MacLeod 🌹 Serenade to Music, Song of the Sea and A Whole New World… never a dull moment with this amazing choir!

The Fiddle Strings program for Grades 3-4 at AEC school has been a great success this year, with over 60 students fiddling 🎻 away in Strings class, every week. More than 20 of these students received bursaries for their instrument rental. A BIG thank you to those generous donors who made this program possible!
We want to keep the fiddles fiddling and offer strings music programs during the school day again next school year, which means we need your help! YOU CAN HELP in three ways:
Instrument bursaries for this program are made possible by generous donations from community members. Every donation helps.
Please consider SPONSORING a child's instrument rental or making a small donation towards a violin, viola or cello, and making a HUGE difference in a child's education. At the same time, you will be part of the continuation of our local cultural heritage.
AND If you can't donate, you can VOLUNTEER to help us raise the funds we need! We are looking for help in many different ways. Contact Wild Music School to inquire.
And please HELP BY SHARING and spreading the word in our community. Thanks!

Are you ready for this, Folkestra?! I feel as though we have been preparing for this for the past two years. All the times I’ve said “there is no such thing as a wrong note”, or “let’s start with this chord and see what happens”, or “play along with this”! I love how your trust in experimentation has grown. I enjoy seeing how the mistakes have become the music and the beauty. Let’s keep going!
