FYI
Our βHealthy Moms Healthy Babiesβ baby group is getting a name change. Because the definition of family has changed so much over the years, we would like to ensure that we are being inclusive to all forms of families in our community, and helping all families feel welcome. As we know, itβs not always a mom & dad raising a family, it can be a grandmother, an uncle, an aunt, 2 dad families, 2 moms families, single dad families, transgender families, binary families, etc... So the new name for our baby group will now simply be βBaby & Meβ.
With that being said, the group will be open to all gender identities (ie: male, female, transgender, binary, gender-neutral, etc...) who are the primary caregivers for the baby or are going to be the primary care givers. The group will still be limited to one person from each family attending (not both partners), as space will be limited. π
