Are you a StFX student with a disability? Your experiences navigating services, programs and supports are important for us to learn from as we work to create a wholly accessible campus.
By joining the Student Accessibility Advisory Committee you will help to inform changes to campus life and environment at StFX to advance equity, inclusion and accessibility. Your participation will also support the development of StFX’s new Accessibility Plan.
The majority of spaces on the Student Accessibility Advisory Committee will be reserved for undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities, and two spaces will be reserved for allies. If you are interested in joining the Student Accessibility Advisory Committee, please email [email protected]
The committee strives to achieve balanced representation of gender, race, and disability, and we are committed to making the engagement process barrier-free. Please email [email protected] if you need an accommodation, find the process inaccessible, or require more information.
Creating the conditions to be a wholly accessible campus is no easy task. The establishment and work of the Student Accessibility Advisory Committee is just one piece of a campus-wide commitment that is needed to make progress. With your participation, we look forward to continuing this important work.

We want you to tell us what would create the best experience for all students. Share your ideas and contribute to StFX’s new Student Experience and Opportunity Plan. This plan will guide strategic priorities for enhancing the student experience at StFX for the next five years.
Strategic plans need to be owned by the community. They are meant to capture, express and show a way forward for everyone. As part of our ongoing consultation, you will have an opportunity to inform priorities for improving student mental health and well-being, experiential and co-curricular learning, and the first-year experience. You can also contribute your ideas to enhance the overall student experience at StFX.
To join the online consultation, login to moodle.stfx.ca and click on the Open Forum. By answering any of the questions, you’ll be eligible to enter a draw to win one of nearly 50 prizes, including DCB, StFX gear and gift cards!
