Bluefin Tuna Interpretive Centre

With all of the excitement of Tuna Fest tomorrow, the Bluefin Tuna Interpretive Centre will be changing our opening hours for one day only. On Saturday, 22 August, we will be open to the public for three hours - from 9:00AM until noon. From 2:00-8:00PM, entrance will be limited to those attending the festival. We had a great time at the Geology Workshop yesterday! STFX student Jaime Burns taught us about different types of rocks and minerals, and brought us local samples as well as some from other parts of Canada. After a walk along the beach, we examined some of the interesting things we found.
