Children's Place Learning Centre

Childrens Place Daycare is hiring for September! We have a full time ECE position, a cook position as well as a afterschool program position. Pay depends on classification level as we follow the government pay scale. You will need up to date first aid, vunerable sector check as well as child abuse registry. The L.C children were getting tired of the winter weather so they decided to have a summer fun day on Wednesday. Surf pool, shell painting, foam pit, tropical fruit buffet and more.

We are closed today, march 13th due to weather.

The children have been collecting food to donate to the community pantry. Yesterday they hand delivered all the items. When they arrived the pantry was almost empty so they were so glad they chose to do this!

As we get into the swing of things at the Learning Centre we wanted to share with you some of the memories we are making!

Thank you to Troy Brow for building this calming space for the children to unwind after a long day at school. The children are calling it "The Chill Zone".

The children have been collecting food donations all month for the community fridge. They carried everything down themselves and filled the shelves. Learning Center staff feel strongly about modeling for the children the importance of community and helping one another!
