Earlier this week, I had the privilege of walking across the McGill stage to receive my Bachelor of Education degree. 🎓

It was a moment filled with pride, gratitude, and reflection. Becoming a teacher has been a dream of mine for many years, and I am incredibly thankful to have reached this milestone.

As we begin our 5th year at Shine Bright Tutoring, this moment reminds me why I started. I’ve always believed that education is about so much more than grades. It’s about building confidence, fostering a love of learning, helping students discover their strengths, and showing them that they are capable of more than they think.

Whether in the classroom or through Shine Bright, my goal remains the same: to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel seen, encouraged, and empowered to succeed.

Thank you to all of the families, students, tutors, friends, and mentors who have supported me throughout this journey. Your trust and encouragement have helped make this dream a reality. 💛

Plus tôt cette semaine, j’ai eu le privilège de monter sur la scène de l’Université McGill pour recevoir mon diplôme en éducation. 🎓

Ce fut un moment rempli de fierté, de gratitude et de réflexion. Devenir enseignante est un rêve que je poursuis depuis de nombreuses années, et je suis extrêmement reconnaissante d’avoir atteint cette étape importante.

Alors que nous amorçons notre 5e année chez Shine Bright Tutorat, ce moment me rappelle pourquoi j’ai commencé cette aventure. J’ai toujours cru que l’éducation représente bien plus que des notes. C’est développer la confiance en soi, cultiver le plaisir d’apprendre, aider les élèves à découvrir leurs forces et leur montrer qu’ils sont capables de bien plus qu’ils ne le pensent.

Que ce soit en salle de classe ou chez Shine Bright, mon objectif demeure le même: offrir un environnement positif et bienveillant où les élèves se sentent écoutés, encouragés et outillés pour réussir.
