The garden is overflowing, making this the perfect time to eat fresh, freeze, can, or dry what you can.

Pickling cucumbers are the only exception. We also have field, white Martini, English, and Middle Eastern cucumbers.

Here is our little farm update for this week’s order form. We have been experiencing beautiful summer days, and so much rain! ☀️🌧️ I think the animals on the farm are enjoying the lovely weather as well! 🐓🐐🐈🐕
Everything is growing rapidly and looking well, except for the bugs, lots of bugs. With ideal conditions there’s so many cucumber beetles, squash bugs and the ravaging of the Japanese beetles. Ah the ever balancing act of working with nature and the sanity saving mindset that all works out in the end.

Beans and cucumbers are in abundance this week. There’s the tasty Roma flat green beans and now a lovely round yellow bush bean ready for the picking. 🫛
We have many type of cucumbers available, including pickling cucumbers, field cucumbers, white martini cucumbers, english cucumbers and middle eastern (like a half size english). 🥒
For fruit this week we have amazing Red Ozark Plums, Yellow Plums, and a special deal on Small Peaches and even some jars of last year’s Canned Peaches.

Order by 2pm on Friday to pick up at the farm on Saturday between 10-1 💚

Here is behind the scenes look at our space before a market! 👀💚
It takes a lot of hard work for our barn to get tidy and decorated, our outside all ready, and flags in the ground ready for our vendors. We may be a little biased, but our farm is such a beautiful setting for a local community event. Surrounded by forest, fields, farm animals, and kind people. Thank you to our staff and volunteers who put in the work to get our farm looking so dang good before these special events!
