Mighty Oaks Montessori offers preschool and kindergarten alternative programs using a progressive Montessori learning style. Full and Part-time available.
Our goal is to help children develop a love of learning while promoting independence, consideration and self regulation. Our curriculum covers mathematics, language, history, geography, astronomy, botany, geology, ecology, physical science, practical life, sensory and zoology. Our program is offered Monday-Friday 7-5 at a cost of $40/day.

5 Reasons Why Circle Time Is a Waste of Time at Preschool Circle Time is popular in early childhood education, but it's largely a waste of time. Research shows kids learn more with small group activities, kinesthetic learning, and hands-on exploration.
I have a preschool spot available Monday and/or Friday from 9-3.

The pink tower is one of my favorite montessori materials. It may not look like much but it is a learning powerhouse! Would you guess that they are actually used in the math module? Well they are! The cubes increase progressively in the algebraic series of the third power. The second cude equals 8 of the first, the third equals 27 of the first and so on. Not all math is numbers on paper :)

The knobbed cylinders are a very popular sensorial material. They help develop fine motor skills as well as visual descrimination. There are 4 blocks in the set each varying in dimension by height or width.
