HD students on the Brazil mission trip were part of a youth camp this weekend. In chapel, devotions and around a mega campfire, students shared testimonies and reflected on what it means to be image bearers. God has been at work! …Lives of service to God.

A group of HD students and staff have been in Brazil this week sharing God’s love at a day camp. They have shared testimony, participated in song and dance and grown in their own faith through devotion and their experience. “Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
They also watched the Brazil soccer game this week that ended in elation and mayhem when Brazil scored the game-winning goal in extra time!

HDCH celebrates Canada Day! Funded by the Government of Canada's Enabling Accessibility Fund, together with our Youth Accessibility Leader Anneke, we have added accessible door-opening hardware and an accessible sidewalk for our south entrance.

This week the class of 2026 graduated and became our newest alumni!
During the month of June, we are celebrating 70 years of HDCH alumni.
Alumni are invited to complete a get connected survey to be entered in draw to win HDCH swag. The final prize is an HDCH Hoodie and the winner will be drawn on June 30th.

God is Good! Over $2.76 million has been donated or pledged to the CARE Campaign since its launch in March 2020, and we are at the cusp of finishing the campaign! Our final task is to bring CARE to the finish line. The goal is to pay back our loan by July, 2027.
Only $400,000 is needed to close off the debt. With monthly interest charges of $3900, every dollar donated to the CARE Campaign reduces the amount owed and interest costs.

It's a time honoured tradition for senior students to sign their school wardrobe shirts on the last day of class.
We pray that God richly blesses the class of 2026 as they finish their semester. make plans and commitments for next steps this fall and in the celebration of their upcoming graduation
