This week some of HD's artists set up in the foyer and were ready to capture the likeness of anyone who volunteered as a model. They completed portraits in only a couple of minutes!

Gr 9 Day at HDCH brought ALL the colour, energy, laughter and community!

Last Friday, our newest class spent the day getting to know our staff and their classmates through a lineup of fun activities — Unsurprisingly, the go-karts were a BIG hit! 🏁😄

We finished the day the best way we know how: with a BBQ, good food and lots of family and community time. 🍔☀️

Welcome to HDCH, Gr 9! We’re so glad you’re here!

It's the start of the 2026-27 school year!
We are thankful for the privilege we have to walk alongside HD students through their high school years. We are grateful to participating with our students’ families, and with the Holy Spirit in this work. Thank you to all who partnering with us as we pray for and love our students.

Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the door-frames of your houses and on your gates. – Deut 11:18-20
