What is your looking like these days??🧮

For those who know me, I always have my hand in something.
🧒Daycare Teacher
👩‍🏫 School Board teacher
👩‍💻Online ESL Teacher

I often get overwhelmed by all the things I feel I NEED TO DO RIGHT NOW in order to be a GOOD TEACHER. 🍎🍏

But finding time to sit with myself and reflect is important too. For me, that's:
↘️ 📚reading a good book 📚( as I working my way to 25 books with year with the

↘️🍵drinking a tea ( preferably from )☕

↘️ 🎼putting on the latest monthly playlist.

↘️OR 🏕 Heading outdoors for some in nature ( as I go to as many as I can)

What do you do to ⚖ balance yourself?

My student was all about the other night. So as we learned about faces/ in our New Zealand unit he made every face into a ZOMBIE 🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️

Today I returned to LaSalle to teach in Kindergarten!👩‍🏫

During I had the opportunity to set up their for tomorrow. 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

They will be dissecting the plants to learn more about them.💐 I put out some trays and small coasters so they can sort and separate the different petals, leaves, and seeds. We also added some tweezers, magnify glasses, and MIRRORS!

Hey Grade 6!

Last week I was BEYOND excited to work in the same room for almost 3 days. It felt so nice to have a routine, and be in the groove again. I can't wait to be back Full Time Teaching in my own class one day.

Hey there MALDEN!

Last week I had the chance to cover in Grade 3/4, for a teacher I know well. It is always nice to walk into a class you already know, and kids that know your name!

We dived into Measurement with mL and L in Math. We then explored a deserted island and planned out our own Adventure stories.

Happy Mother’s Day! Take the time to appreciate all that our mothers, grandmothers and caregivers do for us today.
