CANU - Cumberland Adult Network for Upgrading Adult Education
Our Mission: “To offer Cumberland County adults academic and employability training in a safe, supportive learning environment.”

CAN-U is a community based non-profit organization dedicated to helping adults by upgrading their skills in order to obtain their grade 12 or gain valuable employability skills. We offer small classes in your local community in Cumberland County. We can help with GED prep, Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies and computer skills. We also have job focused programming that allows students to prepare for, get and keep a job. We encourage anyone 18 years old or older who wishes to get a high school diploma or equivalency or needs help preparing for employment to contact us at (902) 661-0153.

CANU offers different spaces for our learners to study, interact with each other, eat lunch, or wait for classes to start. We take pride in having this bright coffee nook space for staff and learners to connect.
