Do you see a Viking? πŸ‘€

Thank you to the ARHS/EBC Band & Choir Parents Association for providing financial support to some ARHS Band Students who participated in the Acadia University Band Camp this past week!

Soon enough the sound of music will ONCE AGAIN fill the halls of ARHS for another school year! πŸ’šπŸ’›

If you’ve been in ARHS since March, you would’ve seen some changes!

Based on Student/Staff feedback, the ARHS Student Council, in partnership with Citizenship 9, Career Development 10, Visual Arts 9-12, Math 9, and the Learning Centre, created common-learning centres and updated the ARHS Art Gallery!

Designed for each wing of the school, these centres can be used by classes, committees, groups, or individual students! Whether it’s group work, study sessions, project planning, or just a place to quietly work, we are excited to have seen its use already in the 2025-2026 school year and are thrilled to see more use next year!

Next steps are the completion of the Student Lounge (September!) and for the hopeful creation of an outdoor classroom! (tbd!) (See Generated Mockups based on student-inputted constraints)

Thank you to Health Promoting Schools for their support!
