Update! I’m sure many of you have noticed a lack of posting to this page this year and I am able to give a definitive update now. Bartsch Gardens is moving! I have sold the country property and am moving my family and operations to Altona in order to be closer to Only Local and to my children’s schools. This summer our flower production is taking a break but next summer we will be back at it in a smaller capacity. Anyone who has purchased a bouquet subscription will still see those fulfilled with local flowers from myself and other growers. We will not be offering any u-pick this summer. Thank you for your continued support! We are excited for this change and doing the next right thing!

New maker highlight: Sew Smart. Some of the things Naarah makes include small macrame pieces, scrunchies, beeswax wraps, and tissue pockets for your travel tissues made from vintage hankies. Her dad collects handsaws and turns them into trees!

These beautiful lisianthus have lots of beauty left to share, and we need room in our cooler for fresh flowers! Buy one bouquet for $25 and get one on us to share with a friend, neighbour, loved one, or random stranger! While supplies last.

Today marks the last pick up for this summer’s bouquet subscriptions. It has been so much fun to put together fresh bouquets each week and see what is in bloom as the summer progresses. We hope you have enjoyed you summer of flowers!
