Another highly successful food drive!

A huge thank you to the residents of Mill Run and White Tail Ridge for their incredible generosity to the Lions Club Christmas Hamper program. We collected 2996 items - that's 95 boxes full of food! We also collected $1025.10 in cash and cheques for the Lanark County Food Bank.

Thank you also to staff and students (just some of whom are pictured above) for supporting this worthy cause.

We'll be holding our first ADHS Curling Team meeting at lunch on Wednesday, October 7th in room 121. All students in grades 9 to 12 interested in curling are welcome! No experience is required! Practices will be on Mondays from 4-6pm at the Almonte Arena.

Toonies for Terry

The high school Student Council collected "Toonies for Terry" to support the Terry Fox Foundation's efforts in cancer research. We raised $235.40 and celebrated with Timbits in the class that raised the most money. Thank you to all who donated, and well done to the grade 7's and 8's who did an amazing job fundraising for this great cause.
