📚✨ New Project Announcement ✨📚
SchoolBOX is honoured to launch a new partnership with Sakatcheway Anishinabe School in Grassy Narrows First Nation to support literacy, culture, and community connection.
Together, we’re working to create a Library & Cultural Learning Space—a welcoming hub that will provide students with access to high-quality books, support teachers with essential resources, reduce screen reliance, and offer a space for drumming, storytelling, and cultural learning led by community Knowledge Keepers.
With a project budget of $25,000, this initiative will support six mini-libraries, a central library, new student-friendly furniture, and travel to collaborate directly with the community. Every contribution helps create a space where children can learn, grow, and stay connected to their culture.
💛 Join us in supporting this important project.

We’re so excited for our partnership together and to work alongside the wonderful team at The Teaching Lodge School.
Please welcome the second Outdoor Adventures school in Canada - K’aa N’aa Matay Wiigiam, The Teaching Lodge School in Washagamis Bay First Nation, Ontario (Obashkaandagaang First Nation)! 🇨🇦
Serving 56 students in a K–12, land-based program, The Teaching Lodge School weaves together Ojibwe language, culture, and outdoor learning — helping students strengthen their identity, heritage, and connection to the land. 🌳
They’re also working alongside SchoolBOX to develop an outdoor learning space where cultural teachings and environmental stewardship can come to life.
We’re honored to support their mission and excited to see how this partnership inspires other First Nations and tribal schools to bring Outdoor Adventures into their classrooms and communities. 💚

At SchoolBOX, we stand in solidarity with Survivors, their families, and communities.
Today, we carry the responsibility to listen, to learn, and to honour the resilience, strength, and wisdom of Indigenous Peoples.
This is not just a day to reflect on the past but a moment to reaffirm our commitment to reconciliation and to building a future rooted in justice and respect.
