THANK YOU!!! Last Rock Junior Bonspiel a huge success!

The club house was rocking on April 12, 2026 when approximately 75 curlers under the age of 21 hit the ice in a friendly competition!

Cassie Depratto Nutt, event organizer, wants to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the amazing volunteers from Alexandria Curling Club that made the day possible (Jim Poulton, Flora Poulton, Dan Sloan, Jen Fraser, Samantha Young, Malcolm Marriot, Virginia Van der Byl, Justin Lajoie, Jacques Lajoie, Kevin Nutt, Allison Blundon, Katie Mcdougald, Mike Finnerty) and all the visiting coaches!! Sorry if I missed anyone.
Thank you to the junior curlers who helped with hall setup, bonspiel prep, errands and kitchen duties.
What a great curling community we have!!

We want to congratulate all the participants today on their valiant efforts.

Ages 12 + = 1st Place Team Doth of the Russell Curling Club : Louie Trinca, Eloise D'Agostino, Kien Doth, Zoey Forrest

Ages 12 + = 2nd Place or the Glengarry Curling Club - Maxville Team Williams: Dawson Williams, Cole Williams, Oakley Williams

A huge congratulations to Reid Fraser who was chosen by our coaches as "Junior of the year". His dedication and hard work are commendable. He emanates a love for curling!

Many thanks to our dedicated coaches who helped throughout this season: Bob Jackson, Cameron Boekhoff, Jim Poulton, Flora Poulton, Samantha Young, Malcolm Marriot, Virginia Van der Byl, Justin Lajoie, Jacques Lajoie, Kevin Nutt.

This has been our best season in many years with approximately 40 youth joining our programs on Thursday after school and Sundays afternoons!! Looking forward to continuing to grow a strong and lasting love of curling in our Glengarry community!

Come support youth curling!

Come and join us for our fundraiser to support the GDHS curling team. We're holding a curl & putt bonspiel on December 30th, as well as a dinner. There will be a 6 end curling game as well as portions of the club will be turned into a mini putt course.
